New babies come with all sorts of perks. Sweet smells. Curious stares. Delicious (reflexive) smiles. And tiny, tiny fingers. But what they don't do is leave you with two free hands. Which means old hobbies, such as hand embroidery, quickly become either a thing of the past, or a task that takes 7.9 times as long to complete. But still, I pat myself on the back for the fact that I've gotten anything at all done. Then again, I am finally learning to feed her hands-free.
