Baby Food

I always laugh at the "Do you make your own baby food?" question. Because if mashing bananas with a fork, or scooping out avocado, or sharing our baked sweet potatoes counts as "making baby food," then the answer is yes. Today, though, Alex got real ambitious and cooked carrots, broccoli, and pears. We are putting then in ice cube trays to freeze for when we're not eating baby-friendly foods, or for when others are watching her. Really, these pint-sized meals are to remind me when I open the freezer looking for ice cream that I need to feed my baby foods too, as she no longer exists on breast milk alone. Much to my dismay.
