Paint Guest Room, Check

We finally got around to eliminating the bacon stripes and transforming the purple palace into a more normally-hued guest room. We chose a grey shade - called "porpoise" by Behr from Home Depot - which, ironically enough is a bit of a purpley-grey (or do you spell is "grAy"?) I also decided to move both our white headboard and the red-painted bedside table from the master bedroom. I bought two new end tables today at the Portland Flea market to transform for our room. We originally thought we'd hang our Pendleton blanket in the guest room, I just hope it doesn't clash with the more country-living furniture now there. It's progress, people. We have lived here almost one year, after all. It's about damn time.
