Four generations in a field of tulips. For the last day of Chris and Peggy's visit - a glorious Portland spring day - we took a road trip to outside Woodburn to tour the Wooden Shoes Tulip Festival. If you look at certain angles, the flowers look like they go on for miles, all the way to the base of Mt. Hood. And then I got a sunburn, the first of the season. Oops.
